Ed Hertel
Ed Hertel has been a member of the CCA since 1996 and has focused primarily on collecting and researching unlicensed gambling establishments (aka illegals). He is committed to sharing his knowledge through the club by giving multiple seminars during the convention, as well as writing dozens of articles for the club's magazine. He has received five Fuller's Article of the Year awards between 2017 and 2022, as well as the President's Award in 2014.
In addition to volunteering at every convention, Ed also serves as an Administrator for the club's Chip Guide and has assisted in various club committees through the years.
Outside of the club, Ed self publishes a free online Illegal Chip Guide which has been an instrumental tool in helping collectors and researchers identify chips from unlicensed clubs.
